If you are looking for driving experiences in the North of England then Elvington race track is situated in Yorkshire and is based just 5 miles of York itself and is one of the largest airfield venues out there in use. Elvington has one of the longest runways in the UK which has been adapted over the years by F1 teams for testing. One of the main attractions to this track is the run off area that runs along the circuit; it allows you to take added speed without fear of crashing into a wall or skidding on grass. This track is a simple design but fantastic fun with full long stretches to be able to drive your Supercar at speed. It originally opened as RAF Elvington and was used as a station for the Royal Airforce that ran from the start of the Second World War until 1992. It is now owned by Elvington Park Limited. The adjacent buildings and control tower have been restored and it currently being used as the Yorkshire Air Museum that showcases many rare aircrafts and also a complete Halifax bomber. Apart from Supercar experiences, Elvington also use the track for motorcycle racing. 6th Gear has constructed a challenging but fast circuit which has proved to be a major attraction for nearly 10 years! Teesside Autodrome is also situated in the North East and is in close proximity to the City of Newcastle. Teesside Autodrome is relatively new motorsport complex operating across a range of motorsports. It is located by the River Tees close to the Riverside stadium in Middlesbrough.
Blyton Park is also a venue which is based in the North. Approximately five miles North of Gainsborough in Lincolnshire, the venue is one mile from Blyton Village. Blyton Park is a former Royal Air Force airfield located just outside of Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. Built in 1942, the airfield was used heavily during the Second World War but was used less after the early stages of the cold war. Blyton has been in existence for a long time, but has recently undergone new management and complete re-surfacing too. The new circuit designs tries to ensure there is as few solid barriers and plenty and as much tarmac run-off as possible. The new high grip surface that the new owners put in place has excellent run-off and is ideal for any level of driver.
